Refund Policies

Thanks for creating a relationship with The IoT Academy Learning fraternity. We believe in long term relationships. We wish to ensure a great experience with our learning ecosystem, resulting in good career growth for you. For any purchase from our online portal, we have below terms and conditions for defining our Refund Policy. When you purchase any course through The IoT Academy online portal, you agree to our Privacy and Terms of use policy. Additional details are given below.

* REFUND POLICY: INSTRUCTOR BASED ONLINE CLASSROOM LEARNING:

Corporate/ Third Party Training

Refund can only be processed if denial of promised service delivery is done from The IoT Academy side.

Any productive time cost serving to the customer will be deducted from the Refund amount.

In case of postponing of training session by customer, Any productive time cost serving to the customer will be deducted from the Refund amount.

No Refund is entertained if

1. Denial of services come from customer side due to any reason
2. Customer changes some delivery plan due to any reason
3. Customer perform some unethical unprofessional behavior e.g. taking training and contents from The IoT Academy and start delivering the sessions by him/herself or through some other third party breaching the contractual agreement.
4. Customer is not clear what to receive and changing the delivery goals time to time
5. There is no fault from The IoT Academy in any delivery
6. Training not scheduled or cancelled by customer completelydue to any reason

Long Duration (6/9 months online training) : Advance Certification In DS, ML, AI.

Due to any force-majeure events (Natural calamity, Political turmoil etc) or Instructor’s sudden unavailability due to unforeseen situation e.g. sickness or family emergency, The IoT Academy reserves the right to postpone/cancel any scheduled course. In Cancellation case, learners will be given the option to join the next upcoming batches.

We understand similar conditions may occur at the learner side as well. So in such cases, where any unforeseen situation arises at the learner's side, we try to adjust the learner's schedule in upcoming batches and the learner should agree to opt for this option.

Refund pointers for 6/9 months programs:

In case a candidate opts for a refund after the program has started or after the seat being allocated and, in various cases refund policies guidelines are below

1. In case if the candidate initiated the refund process within 3 months, then 1/3rd of the entire allotted fee, GST being deducted, will get refunded to the candidate.
2. In case the candidate initiated the refund process within 6 months, 2/3rd of the entire allotted fee, GST being deducted, will get refunded to the candidate.
3. In case the candidate initiated the refund process after 6 months, or certification allotment, the case will not come under the refundable category and will not be rewarded with the refund.
4. In case the candidate opts for a refund before the start of the program, slot booking amount and 1st EMI as processing charges will be deducted for No Cost EMI payment method.

Note: All refunds will be processed within 21 working days of verifying all supporting documents with valid cause and refund requests have been accepted by The IoT Academy. Slot Booking is not refundable if the candidate decides to cancel the slot.

* REFUND POLICY: SELF PACED LEARNING

No refund is entertained if Enrollment was done for Self-paced courses.

LEGAL POLICY: Legal Action (with Penalties) will be taken if

1. Any untoward activities have been observed.
2. Course has been shared with others / multiple users.
3. Course purchase is done to copy the material/ Content.

* Disclaimer –Any dispute, difference, or question which may at any time arise between the parties hereto or any person claiming under them, touching or arising out of or in respect of this agreement or the subject matter thereof shall be referred to sole Arbitrator by the first party , the decision passed by the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties hereto. The Venue of Arbitration will be Noida (Uttar Pradesh). All and any disputes shall be subject to the Jurisdiction of Courts of Noida (Uttar Pradesh), India.
